Construction on the Moon
What do you get when you mix moondust and carbon nanotubes? How about Telescopes. Not literally, but the mixture forms a “lunar concrete” that could be used to construct telescopes as well as buildings and solar power arrays on the MOON.

Scientists were looking for ways to create lightweight telescopes with the intention of taking them to the moon. During their research they happened upon the composite and realized they could construct the telescopes on the moon’s surface, with materials available there, and would only need to take aluminum from Earth to coat the surface.
Wow!
Of course, it’s a bit more intricate than what I’ve described. The possibilities are amazing. Before any definite plans can be made, the material will need to undergo (and pass) durability tests. They don’t know how it will fare after long-term exposure to radiation, which is intense on the lunar surface.
