Welcome to the January 1, 2008 edition of Movie Monday.

The list of links keeps growing. Wow! This week we have a range of articles from self-help to reviews. The most notable, in my opinion, comes from TherapyDoc. It’s a well written article about family, children and movies. Some of the comments are very interesting as well. I can’t say I agree with all of them, but it’s enlightening to discover other people’s opinions.

Actors/Actresses

Ralph Jean-Paul presents Learn From the 8 Most Confident Men in Films posted at Potential 2 Success, saying, “Clooney, Washington, Pitt, Mcqueen. Here is a list of the most confident actors and what you can learn from them.”

DVD

Sarah presents What About Bob? — “a vacation from your problems” posted at SARAHSPY.

Nicola Marsh presents Romance, rumours and rogues posted at Romance, rumours and rogues.

New Movie Releases

NAOMI presents LONDON WELCOMES WILL SMITH posted at Diary From England.

TherapyDoc presents Kids at the Movies: ALVIN! posted at Everyone Needs Therapy.

Reviews

Chris Christensen presents August Rush posted at Inside Chris’s Head, saying, “August Rush is a movie for romantics. It is a sort of retelling of Oliver Twist in New York City.”

vaprak presents Movie Review: Alvin and the Chipmunks (2007) posted at The Critical Critics.

That concludes this edition.

okay so it is going to be the 80th academy awards this year, right? So 2008 – 80 = 1928.
    So … the ’20s

I wonder who made the best/worst dressed list.

Leave it to Allie to deduce the answer to a movie question with math. *shaking head* ;)
