I’m not sure why I chose to share this exercise, other than I’ve had some pretty weird dreams recently. I hope it helps us all with Point of View.
Write about a recent dream, using the viewpoint of the objective author. Without any comment or interpretation whatsoever, report the events (the more bizarre, the better) as they occur.
I’d love to know how you fare with this exercise. After completion, please return and share your experience.
* Exercise taken from Writing Fiction (6th Edition) by Janet Burroway.
